Building on your work from previous years, this course will help you learn to respond to a variety of materials, using such techniques as group work, journals, oral presenations, individual projects, creative responses, and an ongoing writing program. 1/6 of the program will involve media studies. You will reinforce and extend your skills in the areas of listening, speaking, writing, reading, research and analysis. Evaluations will be based on the following components: the writing procress, small group or interactive learning and oral language, work and study habits and independant learning, summative tests and evaluations.
